Brendan Fraser hosts ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ virtual dinner read. Holiday event honors Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann

It’s the season to enjoy holiday classics

Brendan Fraser, actor and director of “It’s a Wonderful Life,” will lead this year’s virtual dinner table reading.

Fraser will be joined by the star-studded cast that includes Jean Smart, Seth Rogen, and Ken Jeong during the third annual event, which takes place on Dec. 11.

Additional cast members include J.K. Simmons and Chelsea Darnell, as well as Jim Beaver.

The Ed Asner Family Center will benefit from the virtual table read. It honors Judd Apatow, and Leslie Mann and their “commitment towards elevating the conversation around special needs individuals”.

The Center provided details on the event via its Twitter account.

The holiday event, which will feature surprise musical performances and a silent auction, will be hosted in partnership with Turner Classic Movies, Whatnot, and Whatnot.

“I am stunned and deeply grateful to this amazing group of actors who have donated their talent and time to support the Ed Asner Family Center. This is a cause that is very dear to my father’s heart. According to Variety, Matt Asner, the son of Ed Asner, and Center co-founder said that he would be proud.

“I want to thank this year’s honorees, Judd and Leslie Mann for their generosity and dedication to the autism community.”
